Searching & Filtering

Example Use Case 1

Filter your Telegram community for users who have made a post every day for the last 7 days.  Assign them karma points, and send them a “thank you” DM.

Example Use Case 2

Send a Poll to your community asking who has a Binance account. Filter for users who don’t have Binance accounts, and send them a DM with your Binance affiliate link.

Groups

Segment your list into groups using the Groups feature. You can create and add users to groups manually, or in bulk based on Search and Filter parameters.

Groups are useful for creating special segments of community members including partners, investors, influencers, press, whales, etc., whom you’d want to identify separately and perform different actions against.

Example Use Case 1

Create groups for known press and influencers. Check the Group weekly to see their activity, set User Alerts to be notified when anyone in the Group engages in the community, and send them 1:1 DMs for particularly important press releases or announcements.

Example Use Case 2

Create a bunch of Groups of 10 team members each. Hold a competition to see which team can earn the most Karma Points over a given period. At the end of the period, check to see which Group has the most Karma points, and declare them the winner!

Broadcast 1:1 DMs

Through the Chainfuel dashboard, you can send 1:1 DMs to users via your Custom Branded Bot.

This is useful for sending messages, notifications, and updates to individuals or Groups that don’t belong in the main channel.

And as discussed in the examples above, broadcasting 1:1 DMs via bulk actions based on Searches and Filters or Groups will save you ALL the time you would have spent reaching out to users manually without Chainfuel PRO.

User Alerts

Flag users or Groups to get notified when they take actions in your group (such as sending a message, answering a poll, or leaving your group).  

User Alerts is a powerful tool for keeping track of special community members or VIPs, including partners, investors, whales, press, influencers, and more.

Example Use Case

Your team has identified a user as one of your top 5 token holders. Toggle User Alerts on on his profile to get a direct notification every time he/she posts in the group.

CSV Exports

From the PRO People dashboard, you can export your user list and all associated user data as a CSV to use, distribute, or share as needed.

This can include data from Poll or Survey responses, giving you the ability to generate and export community insights and reports as never before possible.

Example Use Case

Run a Survey asking your community members how they discovered your community/business, what feedback they have, and their email address. Export the results and share with your business partners and their teams.

Karma Points

As community managers, it’s our responsibility to foster and encourage positive, constructive discussion and conversation.

While warning, blocking, and banning negative users can be helpful and effective for guiding your community culture away from bad behavior, in an ideal scenario, we should be inspiring and motivating our community members with positive reinforcement.

Karma Points are tracked in Chainfuel, and your community members can view their Karma Point balance and see their rankings for different time periods.

You are able to view Karma Point leaderboards for different time periods, giving you the freedom to design different incentive structures, games, and rewards based on Points (more on this to come in future versions).

Example Use Case 1: Karma Competition

Let community members know that they will be rewarded with Karma Points for helping answer support inquiries, driving constructive conversation, or providing valuable project feedback.

Share the Karma rankings every 3-5 days, and at the end of the month, reward the top 5 Karma Leaders with a lifetime supply of McDonald’s curly fries.

Example Use Case 2: Group Meme Challenge

Leveraging Karma in conjunction with Groups to host a Group Meme Challenge.

Divide participants into teams of 3-5 members each. Host a week long meme competition, encouraging everyone to create and share as many funny project-related memes as they can.

Admins assign 1-5 Karma points per meme (based on lulz). Total Karma of the groups (as seen on the Groups page) decides the winner. Winning team receives lifetime supply of McDonald’s curly fries.  

1:1 Bot Engagement

Sadly, it’s not (yet) possible to send individualized updates or notifications in a Telegram channel that only specific users can see.

Everyone in your community can see everything posted in the group, negating its usability as a channel for more personalized or individualized notifications.

Luckily, after a community member initiates conversation with your Custom Branded Bot, we’ll have the ability to use the 1:1 Bot as a channel for such messaging.

Through the 1:1 Bot, you can send more targeted updates that don’t belong in the main group channel. In conjunction with Searching & Filtering, and Groups, this 1:1 channel for notifications and updates is powerful:

Make a group of Press & Influencers. Send them special sneak peaks, press releases, and exclusive updates via 1:1 Bot.

Filter for users who have posted every day for the past 7 days. Award them 10 Karma Points each, and send them a funny thank you video via 1:1 Bot.

Example Use Case 1

Create a poll asking users whether or not they have a Binance account yet. After the poll, filter your People list for users who answered “no”, and send them your Binance affiliate link.

Example Use Case 2

Create a poll asking users if they have a Reddit account. After the poll, create a Group of “Reddit Users”. Send these users a 1:1 Bot Message every time you make a Reddit post, encouraging them to find the post and upvote it.

Surveys

Create multi-step, open ended surveys for your Community to respond to.

The Community responds to the surveys via 1:1 DM Bot (a feature not available through native Telegram, or any other Telegram community solutions currently).

With Surveys, again you can learn your community members preferences and tastes, this time giving them a chance to expand and go deeper on certain response.

As with Polls, responses from Surveys are added to user profiles in People PRO, giving you the ability to Search & Filter, Group, or send bulk messaging to users based on Survey responses.
